Ashnikko is coming to California!! The U.K. alternative pop star broke out in 2019 with TikTok hit “Stupid” and now she’s ready to bring her WEEDKILLER tour to downtown Oakland.
Hot off the heels of her debut studio album of the same name, Ashnikko’s highly awaited WEEDKILLER tour promises a unique experience. Fans can expect lurid empowerment anthems as Ashnikko bounces and dances across the stage. In a statement, Ashnikko says: “My bioluminescent heart is glowing. My post-apocalyptic fae world is here for you to journey into. My wings have been ripped out, but I’ve built them anew using WEEDKILLER machine parts. I am the one sent here to eliminate you, WEEDKILLER.”

Ashton Nicole Casey, better known as Ashnikko, is a cutting edge rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Raised in the city of Greensboro, the U.K. alternative pop star broke out in 2019 with TikTok hit “Stupid” with Yung Baby Tate and has disrupted the music scene ever since. She released her first mixtape, DEMIDEVIL on 15th January 2021, featuring “You Make Me Sick!” and the TikTok-viral smash hit Daisy. The iconic pop star wrote a diss track about a fellow classmate over Lil Kim’s ‘Black Friday’ beat, and co-wrote the track Boss Bitch with legendary rapper Doja Cat for the movie Birds of Prey. And in August 2023, she dropped her debut studio album WEEDKILLER via Warner Records. The album features appearances from Ethel Cain and Daniela Lalita and has a unique concept.
The idea behind the record is described in a press release as being “a commentary on environmental disaster and the rapid evolution of technology” that tells “the story of a fae civilization occupied and destroyed by machines that feed on organic matter where the faerie protagonist seeks revenge by becoming part machine.”
