And what a Friday it’s gonna be, because Emotional Oranges are pulling up on October 3rd as part of their 2025 WORLDWIDEORANGES Tour! And when we say "worldwide," we mean everywhere. From Brooklyn to Boston, from Austin to Montréal — this tour is hitting all the right cities, and the Bay is getting its moment under the orange spotlight. They’ll be bringing along a full live band, new arrangements, and that signature hazy-funky-smooth sound that’s made them one of the most vibey duos in alternative R&B right now. And this Fox show? It’s one of the biggest highlights of the run. Expect full-body basslines, dreamy vocals, and a room full of fans singing every lyric like it’s gospel.

In case you didn’t know — Emotional Oranges got their start in Los Angeles back in 2017, when Azad Right and Vali Porter crossed paths at a bat mitzvah (no joke), and the rest was orange-scented history. Both were already quietly working behind the scenes with major artists, but when they dropped their first track Motion on SoundCloud in 2018, they created something uniquely theirs: moody, melodic, layered R&B that feels like silk and sweat at the same time. No one really knows why they picked the name Emotional Oranges, but once you hear them, it just fits. Their songs are lush, deeply catchy, and a little mysterious — just like the duo themselves.
