The incredible talent that is Nathaniel Rateliff started his career back in St. Louis, MO on October 7, 1978. With his passion so clear for music, he began like so many do with starting to learn an instrument, first he tried the drums at age seven and joined his family's Gospel Band. Growing up with such a musical background really helped to shape his life, but when he was just 13 years old, his father was killed in a car crash, after this tragic incident, Rateliff turned even further to music to help him through. It was then that he started to learn the guitar and write his own songs and with a later move to Denver, he would focus on making it his life long choice and dedication.
